Love is the most beautiful freaking thing in this world.
One of my favorite parts about working with couples is getting to know their story. How they met, little quirks, just anything I can learn about them. It not only translates my images from a simple image into artwork that holds memories. But it allows us to connect and have actual conversations during each session. In the end giving them something that they will look back on and treasure.
The love between Emily and Kurtis is real, and these images you are about to see will give you a little peak at it. Their home is absolutely adorable, and oh my gosh their cat.. (You can’t even tell how much Kurtis didn’t want to be doing this.)
I suck with words so lets just get on with it.
so basically, if you could fill my schedule up with sessions like this and i’ll be forever grateful.

Magical Motherhood Session - Lethbridge, Alberta
Rose, Keean, and I met at Indian Battle Park in Lethbridge, Alberta. The weather was perfect, beautiful sunshine, just enough wind, and the cutest little mother son duo you ever did see. We found a perfect little spot in the grass and sprawled out. Keean was hungry but very intrigued by the camera. His little eye brows - seriously. The most expressive little face I’ve ever seen. Keep scrolling to enjoy his many looks.
So yeah, I am in love with them all and hope you enjoyed checking them out.
PS this was just a mini session that got out of hand, woops. Sometimes its just too good to stop shooting.

Family farm session - Taber, Alberta
We spent the evening running around their family farm in Taber, Alberta. Running in and out of the beautiful light beams - laughing way to hard. To say it was perfect wouldn't be a lie. Its not uncommon that I connect well with children but by the end of our session together these two wanted me for a sleepover, which of course is the best thing to hear.
Vanessa and Brady are picture perfect and capturing their family was just great, so I will leave it at that and show you the goods

In-home newborn lifestyle session, Lethbridge Alberta
I photographed Nicole and Ryan's adorable newborn lifestyle session at their home in Lethbridge, AB. These sessions are my favorites for a pretty simple reason - the love is undeniable, and the connection is nearly impossible to miss.
Telling the story of a family, while creating this art, is more fulfilling than I could ever explain. Be sure to check out little miss Mila's personality, it shines brightly throughout the images (I seriously love her smile - its infectious) And Little Hugo looks just like a little old man!
