Self love - Boudoir
Session Guide

First off, thank you for choosing me to be your photographer, to capture your beauty. It means the world to me that you entrust me with this, and I cannot wait to get to know you and make this session one you'll never forget. 

I want to capture you right now, in the moment, exactly as you are, with all of the unique bits and pieces. Would you like to feel sexy, sultry, gorgeous, glamorous? Boudoir photography is about celebrating you and how you look when you feel your best.

 Go into the session with a really open mind and a positive attitude. Everybody's a little nervous. Trust that I will blow your mind, your confidence is key- even if we start out completely faking it. Honestly, fake it for me just a little bit, I’ll show you the back of my camera and bam that’s when the fire starts and it only burns deeper from there. Lets celebrate your body and how incredible it is. It literally carries you through life!

How do you prepare?

What to wear:

Biggest piece of advice. Head to a lingerie shop and try on everything. Figure out what you love. Even if you buy nothing, it will give you a good idea.

We can change a couple times so pick more than one outfit, 2-3 is a good number. It can be fun to start in an over-sized shirt with some gorgeous panties or a body suit then strip down slowly, add in lacey or strappy lingerie, finish tastefully nude or just topless. I am game for anything and the sky is the limit. If you need help deciding on your lingerie send me your ideas! This is your session and I will plan with you to create the best experience possible.

How I capture you:

While I am capturing you, I am guiding you through poses and prompts to capture your incredible self. I will sit and physically show you what to do. We laugh together and keep everything free flowing and so easy going. We can take things slow or jump right into things and there are no right or wrong ways. These images, even if they are a gift for someone - are for you too - celebrate yourself. They will allow you to see yourself in a completely different perspective, and it can be so much more than you expect.

Hair/makeup,  This isn't something you get to do often so treat yourself and spend some time on you. Hiring hair and make-up can be the confidence boost you need! This is a great time to have a glass or two of wine to help you loosen up, turn up the music and soak in the moment.

We need some background noise, Having your favorite up-beat feel-good playlist is always a good idea. I have tons on hand as well if you don’t!

Your Photo's
Will be ready within about four weeks of session date. I will send off a digital gallery with all of the best images almost fully edited, you then have the option to choose your images or upgrade to receive additional images. Once you’ve chosen your images, I will finish editing them and you’ll receive your final gallery.

Photoshop: I do some skin smoothing, blemish, and bruise removal. Generally if it will be gone in a few weeks, I edit it out. Please cut off lingerie tags as close to the edge as possible, they are the worst for slipping out of place. Tight clothing (bra, panties, jeans, elastics, tight pants etc.) will leave lines, please, please, please, wear loose fitting clothing to your session, if it is really excessive there will be an additional photoshop fee.

Prints, canvas, and Albums
Are available, and encouraged. I would love to build you a custom album, prices are dependent on many options $550-$900 average pricing on albums. Metal prints (HIGHLY RECCOMMEND) are my absolute favorite way to display boudoir images Prices vary but a 16x20 metal print is roughly $300. Prints and Canvas orders are available as well, reach out for some options.
